Capt. Mohamad Al Ali

Captain Mohamed Al Ali is the Senior Vice President Ship Management at ADNOC Logistics and Services (L&S) since 2018. In his current role at ADNOC L&S, he oversees the Technical and Crew Management of ADNOC L&S’ fleet, including LNG and LPG carriers, Tankers, Dry Bulk carriers, Container Feeders, Offshore and Marine Service vessels.

Captain Al Ali has over 20 years of successful experience in oil and gas and shipping. He started his career as a deck cadet with National Gas Shipping Company Ltd (NGSCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADNOC in 1996, and rose to become the first UAE National Master on an LNG carrier in 2008. While there, he also spearheaded a number of joint energy efficiency and optimization projects between Abu Dhabi National Tanker Company (ADNATCO) and NGSCO, achieving Energy Management Standard ISO 50001 and Asset Management Standard 55001.

Captain Al Ali and his team are the recipients of several local and international Maritime Awards such as ADNOC HSE, Dubai Sustainability, Maritime Standard and Sea Trade awards.
 
Captain Al Ali holds an Executive Master Degree in Business Administration from Zayed University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Business and Management from John Moores University in Liverpool, UK.

He is a qualified Naval Architect from the Cochin University of Science and Technology and holds an MBA from the Management Development Institute of India. Prior to joining Fluor, Cyril worked in leading international freight forwarding companies, focusing on industrial project logistics for the oil and gas, mining and metals, petrochemicals and power industries.

Starting his HLT industry career in 2007 at ALE HeavyLift, Jack progressed through various roles. Initially in project management, moving to sales and business development, and then as the Managing Director of ALE Heavylift MEA from 2017, based in the United Arab Emirates.   
 
Following the acquisition of ALE Heavylift by Mammoet in 2020, Jack transitioned to the role of the Managing Director for Mammoet Middle East, Africa and Caspian regions, ensuring a successful continuity in leadership and management of the company's business.

Rafael Vicens

Rafael Vicens began his career as a civil engineer, working as senior site manager with Carbonell Figueras on projects for clients including Alstom and Siemens in Europe. The job of Deputy General Manager with Islas Engineering and Consulting brought him to the Middle East in 2010 to lead the company’s commercial activities, opening the India and the Egypt markets. Moving to ALE in 2011, Vicens worked on a number of large projects in the MEAC, first as a project manager, progressing to contracts/business development manager and finally as regional commercial manager. Before joining DB Schenker in 2020, he was General Manager Heavy Lift & Projects Logistics in Al Majdouie Logistics and Regional Head of Projects MEAC for Panalpina. He holds an EMBA from London Business School, a MSc in Civil Engineering, a Master’s in Environmental Health and Safety and an Executive Program at Columbia University.
